The Brunton and the Lammermuir Festival Present The Royal Scottish National Orchestra
Weber: Overture to Der Freischütz
Weber: Andante e Rondo ongarese
Dvorak: Symphony no.8
David Hubbard - bassoon
A lovely evening of music delivered by Scotland’s national symphony orchestra. Principal bassoonist David performs Weber’s incredibly virtuosic Andante and Hungarian Rondo together with Elgar’s wistful and haunting Romance. The evening ends with Dvorak’s sunniest symphony evoking the beauty of Bohemia and ending with one of the most joyous of all movements.
