Speak to Be Heard

Do you hate speaking in a group? Feel self conscious sharing your ideas? Join us in a practical workshop to learn how to speak with more power and confidence. It's time to speak up!

Speak to Be Heard

About Speak to Be Heard

Women Only

Do you feel nervous speaking? Feel self conscious when asked to speak? Get flustered in presentations? Lack confidence sharing your ideas or your point of view? Feel your contribution is less worthy than others? You are not alone.

In this workshop you will learn how we as women have been socialised to be this way and how we can undo all those acquired habits and behaviours! Instead you will learn how to keep people’s attention, ‘hold the floor’ and own it with confidence. You will explore your voice and how to use techniques such as intonation, phrasing and dynamics to speak with conviction and power.

This workshop is relaxed, fun and informal. There are participative exercises, however, participation is optional. You will not be pushed to speak if you are not comfortable to do so.

Please bring water, a recording device and headphones.
