Love To Move

About Love To Move

Women Only (plus carers)

Love to Move is designed to get older people moving and functioning better. We’re delighted to offer this chance to experience it.

What is it? Love to Move uses games to get the left and right hands to do different things at the same time (officially called 'co-ordination exercises' and 'bilaterally asymmetrical movement'!) This enables the left side and right side of the brain to process information independently, improving cognitive function, coordination and the ability to carry out daily living activities.

What does it do? Love to Move offers physical, emotional and cognitive benefits for older people especially those living with dementia, Parkinson’s and other cognitive impairment.

Above all, the programme is fun!

One participant said it brings her “One hour of wonderfulness each week!”

Who should come? Older women, or their female family members and carers. (Accompanying carers - male and female - are also welcome and should book a place.) Fully wheelchair accessible
