About Gladstone’s Land Lecture Series: Robert Burns and the Natural World - CANCELLED

Robert Burns is often referred to as the Ploughman Poet. His poetry is suffused with imagery of the natural world; the landscapes, plants and animals which he encountered in his native Ayrshire of the late 1700s. Join Robert Burns Birthplace Museum Learning Manager Chris Waddell as he looks at some of the species Burns mentions in his poetry and examines the Scots language he uses to describe them.
