This Ranger led walk will guide you through the nature and history of Hopetoun’s designed landscape. Look out for wildlife whilst enjoying learning about the specimen trees and plants. You are free to enjoy the rest of the majestic grounds with nature trails and scenic walks before and afterwards too. Tickets strictly limited to 12 people per walk.
Please meet our ranger in the car park (beside the ticket kiosk) at 1.50pm for a safety briefing. The walk will start at 2pm. Sturdy footwear recommended.
You are welcome to arrive anytime from 11am to enjoy the grounds before the walk and then stay as long as you like until we close at 5pm.
In line with the Scottish Government guidelines all visits to the Hopetoun Grounds must now be booked in advance, therefore we sadly cannot accommodate anyone turning up on the day without a pre-booked ticket.
Please note that The Stables Kitchen is not yet open, but you are welcome to bring a picnic.
Access requirements
For Sat Nav please use EH30 9RW which will take you into South Queensferry to Farquhar Terrace. From here you will be able to follow the brown signs to Hopetoun and it is a straight road from this point.
