Every year, the Traverse opens its script submissions window seeking bold, brilliant and innovative new plays.
There are no restrictions on who can apply: whether you’re an established playwright or a first-time writer with a brilliant story.
We appreciate that writing a full-length play takes a lot of time and hard work, so this workshop is aimed at giving you all the information you need to submit your play to us, well in advance of the submissions window opening.
Join the Traverse’s Literary Associate Eleanor White for a discussion on what makes an eye-catching submission, the kind of work the Traverse is looking for, and a breakdown of the script submission process.
Come armed with any questions about the submissions process or the process of writing a play in general.
If the fee is a barrier to you attending, please email email@example.com and we will organise a ticket for you.
