North West Spain in one of the most exciting wine corners of Europe.
This tasting will be hosted by Master of Wine Rose Murray Brown. It will focus on the wines of Galicia including Rias Baixas, Ribeira Sacra, Monterrei, Ribeiro, Valdoerras and Bierzo - with wines from the local white Godello and Albarino and the minerally nervy red Mencia and popular Tempranillo - Asturias with its indigenous Carrasquin grape - and the Basque Country with its exclusive Txakoli.
Visuals will illustrate these beautiful northern Spanish wine regions.
Platters of Iberico Bellota ham, lomo, salchichon, chorizo, olives, Spanish cheeses and breads will be served alongside the wines.
No prior knowledge required to enjoy this - just a love of Spanish wine & food.
A great gift for anyone who visits Spain regularly - or dreams about it.
