A fun evening of history and wine - back by popular demand!
Learn how the vinegrowers, wine villages and wine regions survived the ravages of war across the world whilst sampling 13 white and red wines - and discover their link with the world wars with Master of Wine Rose Murray Brown as your guide.
During the first part of the evening you will discover wines from families in the French regions of Champagne, Alsace, Burgundy and Loire and learn about their involvement in WW1 and WW2. In the second part of the evening you will sample wines from war torn corners of the world - including Syria, Lebanon, Armenia and Kosovo.
Visuals will illustrate the producers and regions.
A selection of fine cheeses will also be served alongside the wines.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Wine and War Masterclass are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
