Celebrate South Africa Scotland
Sorry you are too late, this event has been and gone!
Come and Celebrate South Africa in Scotland on Saturday 14th December, it's going to be a fun family day, filled with activities for children and adults!
About Celebrate South Africa Scotland
Celebrate South Africa Scotland', will be on the 14th December 2019.
After a successful Rugby World Cup in Japan, we have seen and witnessed a strong shift in unity amongst South Africans and the realisation of Nelson Mandela's dream of a Rainbow Nation. The aim of the event is not only to celebrate South Africa and its culture, but to also share and celebrate South Africa with Scotland.
It's going to be a fun family day, filled with activities for children and adults. There will be South Africa's popular dishes, a selection of South African wines, snacks, dance music and entertainment. Local based South African designers will be invited to showcase their clothing, bead work, arts and crafts and more. We want to celebrate South African culture in Scotland, through cultural cohesion. We envisage the South African National Anthem played with bagpipes to infuse and celebrate the two and cultures as we open the event.
This event will be in conjunction with Brand South Africa’s “Global South Africans Engagement”
