Focusing on two illustrations, you will learn how to use composition and perspective to draw the eye into your painting.
Using ink and watercolour, and under the close guidance of Mark Kirkham, the Edinburgh Sketcher, you will finish and mount two A4 pieces.
Places are limited to eight or under on this more advanced sketching workshop in order to provide more one-to-one tuition.
This workshop is suitable for anyone who has attended one of Mark's Introduction to speed-sketching workhops, or has previous experience of sketching. If you are unsure whether it is suitable for you, please email us before booking.
The price includes access to all the equipment you will need, all materials, plus a hot drink served with cake or biscuits. You will also take home all the sketches you complete, and your two mounted sketches.
Please note that our workshop space is based on the first floor of a Georgian mews house and unfortunately we do not have lift access.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Advanced Sketching - Georgian Landscapes are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
