Come, help us welcome Santa to Dalkeith Country Park!
On Saturday 30th November, Santa will arrive at the park after journeying from the North Pole. We need your help to give him the best welcome party he’s seen yet before taking residence in his Grotto for the festive period.
Santa will then depart at 11am from the park’s Town Gate entrance with his elves and a sleigh pulled by the estate tractor. We’re inviting everyone to be there ready to greet him and walk with the sleigh down through the park to Restoration Yard. Santa’s elves will be handing out sweet treats to all the kids who come along.
Santa will arrive in the courtyard at 11.30am where everyone who welcomes him is invited to say a big festive hello at this free ‘meet and greet Santa’ walk around session before he takes up residence at 12.15pm in his Grotto for the lead up to Christmas.
On the day:
This event is FREE to attend. Please arrive about 5-10 minutes before 11am at the Town Gate entrance so you don’t miss the start! The postcode is EH22 2NA. We advise coming on foot. If you’re bringing the car please park in Laundry House Car Park or Steele Park Car Park and walk up the footpath to Town Gate.
Looking for some one on one time with Santa? This year you can book Santa’s Grotto visits and Breakfast with Santa.
