Christmas is coming and there are no better gifts than the ones you make with your own hands. Handmade soap always makes a great gift whether is for Christmas/birthdays or for yourself.
This course is designed for beginner in the soap making craft and would like to learn in a small group of people with one on one guidance. The soaps will be made using a variety of "gifts from nature" as in petals, herb powders, plant infusions and the workshop includes essential information on the beneficial values of using herbs in soap.
The course starts at 10.00am and it would last around 3 hours. There will be selection of wildcrafted teas, coffee and homemade muffins available. Please bring an apron and an old towel.
All materials, literature, safety equipment etc. are provided. There will also be info on how to make your own personalised soap labels and a sheet with other soap recipes to try at home (the good type of homework). Soaps made on the day are to be collected from the same place a few days later. This is due to the soap being to soft to be transported on the day of making it. It is advised that you wear long sleeves for this workshop.
