This weekend course will introduce you to key woodworking and joinery skills which are useful to artists. You will learn to use workshop machinery as manual hand tools and power tools to make small handmade items (jewellery box, small side table or box shelf). Working in hardwood, you will learn processes to take the material from rough-sawn to a polished surface. Ideal for beginners or those who wish to gain confidence to use equipment in the wood workshop.
