An art exhibition bringing together the work of four wildlife artists, Max Angus, Paul Bartlett, John Foker and John Hatton, with a contrasting approach to their subject.
Paul Bartlett's and John Foker's work draw attention to the construction of their images. In these, the subject seems to fleetingly emerge from the background, always at risk of being reabsorbed by it.
By contrast, Max Angus and John Hatton, both printmakers, favour pared-down compositions and muted colours to create images full of serenity and stillness.
