Beginners Weekend Sewing Course

About Beginners Weekend Sewing Course

A short course to teach you how to sew in a weekend.

Course runs: Friday 7pm-9pm & Saturday 10am-5pm (Duration 8 hours)

The Friday evening session will teach you how to use a sewing machine (what all the parts do, how to wind bobbins and thread up). Over the course of Saturday, we'll cover various types of seams and hems, how to sew zips and buttonholes, then make a gorgeous project to put your new skills into practice.

This course is suitable for absolute beginners, or if you need a refresher, and is a good foundation whether you want to do dressmaking, soft furnishing or general crafts sewing.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Beginners Weekend Sewing Course are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
