With as many as a third of all proposals happening during December, there is potential for hundreds of people to go into the festive season with achy knees. As well as providing comfort, the leading hotel group has even taken on a lot of the leg work by picking out the most romantic locations within its grounds to pop the question. “To make the experience as memorable, and pain-free, as possible we’ve placed cushions throughout our hotels in the most romantic and festive locations. And if guests don’t get the answer they are hoping for at least there’s a nice velvet cushion to soften the blow.”
