Plan your big day in one big weekend!
Fiancés go free at the largest and longest-running wedding event in the East of Scotland
Newly engaged and just starting to plan your wedding? Or desperate to find the final finishing touches before your big day arrives? Whatever stage you’re at, head to the Edinburgh Wedding Fair and discover why it’s the largest and longest-running wedding event in the East of Scotland. Plus, book your ticket this week and you can bring your fiancé along for free!
Over 130 specially selected exhibitors, including industry experts and VOWS award-winners, will be on hand to share their expertise – offering inspiration, helpful advice and unmissable offers. Whether you’ve got your heart set on a traditional ceremony or something a little more alternative, they can help you arrange your dream day in just one weekend. From sourcing stunning stationery and finding fabulous flowers, to creating a cake like no other, the Edinburgh Wedding Fair is the must-visit show for all brides and grooms.
Of course, we can’t forget the outfits! So take a seat at one of the three daily fashion shows where designer boutiques and leading kiltmakers will preview their ranges on the catwalk, giving you an exclusive first look at the very latest wedding trends.
Revealing her 2020 wedding style predictions, Fashion Show Producer, Beth Farquhar, said; ‘It's always the highlight of our year showing the very latest designs for the coming season. We work with some of the most prestigious boutiques who bring their dynamic, fashion-forward collections direct to brides, mothers of the brides, and not forgetting the grooms. Over the next year, we will continue to see the trend for full sleeves, slick couture shapes, and exquisite three-dimensional embroidery, with hints of colour throughout for brides. For the mother of the bride, it’s all about stepping away from the norm and wearing something much more on trend in a whole rainbow of colour. Nothing is impossible and in fact we're seeing the rise of the trouser suit. And for the dapper chaps, the boldest colours and sharpest tailoring is giving our modern grooms the widest selection ever.’
Advance tickets to the Edinburgh Wedding Fair cost just £6 and include access to the event, all fashion shows, plus a free copy of the Scottish Wedding Directory to take away. However, couples can get one free ticket if they register online by Monday 23rd September.
Commenting on the upcoming show, Paul DeMarco, owner of the Edinburgh Corn Exchange and creator of the Edinburgh Wedding Fair said; ‘You spoke and we listened! The wedding industry, and the world in general, has changed a lot since we first launched the Edinburgh Wedding Fair back in 2003. To reflect these positive strides forward, we’re committed to making our show as inclusive as possible. A wedding is about two people cementing their love for one another, so we'd like to invite you both along to enjoy all that we have to offer. With that in mind, make sure you take advantage of our brand new 'Fiancés go free!' offer'.
