Go Ape Aberfoyle is inviting adventurers to experience the forest after hours and take on the challenge of one of Britain’s longest zipwires with just the moon for light.

The outdoor adventure specialist, which has 33 locations across the UK, is holding a series of special night time events this October at just three of its sites including Go Ape Aberfoyle, enabling thrill-seeking Scots the chance to zip through the forest in complete darkness.
The special night sessions will take place within Queen Elizabeth Forest Park on the 13th, 26th and 27th October and are designed to awaken the senses with adventurers taking on a series of obstacles including rope ladders and bridge crossings in addition to zip lines all under the night sky.
Commenting, Steven McGirr, site manager at Go Ape Aberfoyle, said: “What better way to celebrate the darker nights than with the chance to fly through the forest at Go Ape under moonlight. Whether you’ve experienced Go Ape before or are simply looking for a new adventure, our night time sessions will certainly provide an experience like no other and are sure to awaken all the senses.
“This is the first time we’ve ever opened the course at night and we anticipate it’s going to be popular with Scots wanting to experience the forest like never before.”
The special night sessions will start from 6pm with the last session at 8pm. Participants must be aged 16 or over and tickets cost £15pp. For more information or to book, please contact Go Ape Aberfoyle on 01603 895 500.
Minimum Age – 10yrs
Minimum Height – 1.4m (4ft7in)
Maximum weight – 20.5 stones (130kg)
Under 16s must be supervised by a participating adult. An adult can supervise two under 16s. 16 and 17 year olds can be unsupervised, but cannot supervise under 16s.
