CBRE Asset Services initiative will see students display final year work in Quartermile 4 in Edinburgh.
Photography students at City of Glasgow College are set to showcase their talent with an exhibition hosted at prestigious Grade A office development Quartermile 4 in Edinburgh.
The Asset Services team at leading property consultancy CBRE, which manages the building on behalf of landlord Triuva, has joined forces with nine students completing their BA Honours Photography degree to feature a selection of standout images captured during their final year.
Entitled Structured, the free exhibition launches this Friday 8 December in Quartermile 4’s spacious reception area. Staff and students from City of Glasgow College will be joined by professionals from both the visual arts and commercial property industries on the opening night, where CBRE will also be providing refreshments. The exhibition will be open to the public from 6–9pm on the opening night and between 9am and 5pm from Monday 11 to Friday 15 December, with some of the students’ work available for sale.
Sarah Allison, building manager at CBRE, said: “Working with the City of Glasgow College students to organise their exhibition here at Quartermile 4 has been a fantastic opportunity, and it’s been great to see the tenants get involved and support the students as well. In addition to providing the students with an ideal venue to showcase their talent, we’re excited to be welcoming new visitors to the building throughout the exhibition’s run.

On behalf of her fellow students, Angela Allison, a photography student at City of Glasgow College, commented: “We’ve been working extremely hard to bring the Structured photography exhibition to fruition. It’s an excellent opportunity for us to share our work with the public, and with its great location in the centre of Edinburgh, we hope that Quartermile 4’s footfall will help boost our exposure. We’re grateful to the Asset Services team at CBRE for their support and we hope visitors to the exhibition enjoy viewing our work.”
