St Michael and All Saints
About St Michael and All Saints
St Michael and All Saints Church is part of the Diocese of Edinburgh, one of the seven historic Dioceses in the Scottish Episcopal Church. The Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) is part of the Anglican Communion, an association of churches in full communion with the Church of England, and specifically with its Primate, the Archbishop of Canterbury. The SEC participates within the Communion through its representation at Lambeth Conferences, and meetings of Primates and the Anglican Consultative Council. In addition to its membership of the Anglican Communion, the SEC has entered into several formal agreements with churches across Europe, such as the Porvoo Agreement, and has close relationships with other British denominations.
