The Wash House hosts many regular activities which encourage and support health, wellbeing and life long learning for the benefit of the local community.

The centre is also ideal for both professional and amateur arts activities and hosts plays, pantos, ceilidhs, film nights and music events. We can cater for all ages and provide wheelchair access.

We have two rooms, a kitchen and a large hall available for hire. The large hall is complete with lighting rig, blackouts, PA, and stage, ideal for larger functions. Please click here for more information about venue hire.

With the squeeze on public spaces in Portobello and Edinburgh, the Wash house in Adelphi Grove is a hidden gem with cheap and accessible activities on offer and a great space for community gatherings.
