Be the first to see May Morris Art & Life at this exclusive preview event.

The youngest daughter of William Morris, May was an extraordinary craftsperson who contributed significantly to the Arts and Crafts Movement. Responsible for creating some of Morris & Co.’s most iconic textiles and designs, May took charge of the embroidery department from the age of 23 and worked to preserve her father’s legacy and champion the movement.

Featuring outstanding embroidery and designs by May, as well as artefacts and objects from her life including her notebooks, jewellery, and clothing, this is a chance to learn about one of the key female forces behind the Arts and Crafts Movement.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for May Morris Art & Life Preview are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
