Harbingers Drum Crew
Masters of the Edinburgh Drumcore scene, expect a twenty-five-strong wall of drums; with techno-inspired industrial ferocity, live drum and bass, and mind-splitting break-beat power. Feel the floor move beneath to your favourite industrial drum crew.
Drums and drums and drums and drums and BASS: Behold the sound of 20 live percussionists, harmonised vocals, electric double bass and live synth leads, bringing you the finest jungle, acid house and DnB favourites to get rowdy to. It's that face when a filthy beat drops...
Smurd is the name, it is quite suspicious
With rhythms confusing and at times capricious
Which is the pulse, why does the one shift?
And why does my mind keep going adrift?
We wreck brains with rhythmic delight
Layers and layers designed to confuse,
Musical ecstasy - not for the obtuse,
Of time and thus space, much excite amirite
Time signature here, pulsating elsewhere
I urge you all for your own sake to be there
When the magic happens, it may sound absurd
But in the beginning there was the word and the word was Smurd
