About Monkey Shoulder hosts the world’s loudest, silent Whisky Tasting

For the whole of August, Monkey Shoulder, the 100% malt whisky made for mixing, will be parked up in town for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with its 12-foot, 11,000 litre cocktail Mixer Truck, and is bringing with it the World’s Loudest, Silent Whisky Tasting!

What should you expect? Well, in true silent disco style, you’ll be given a pair of headphones before being immersed into the world of whisky via a mini mix of tunes to complement the unique 10 minute whisky tasting, all led by a live compere. Even better, you’ll sample three of Monkey Shoulder’s cheekiest cocktails; The Lazy Old Fashioned, Show Me The Monkey and the Ginger Monkey as part of the experience.

So if you haven’t visited the truck already (it’s hard to miss!) then you have until Sunday 25th August to head down to George Square where the Monkey Shoulder team invites you to a whisky tasting that’s unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before…

When? Every Wednesday - Saturday 8pm-12am, with extended DJ sets on Saturdays and special guest DJ Nasty-P on Saturday 17th August.
