About Alsace v New Zealand Wine Tasting
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
A rare chance to compare the aromatic wines of Alsace in France against those of New Zealand's up-and-coming wine regions, Marlborough, Martinborough, Hawkes Bay and Central Otago.
Taste 13 white and red wines including Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir with Rose Murray Brown Master of Wine as your guide. The wines will be served in pairs with a wine from Alsace and New Zealand matched against each other.
New Zealand is often hailed as the best place in the New World to produce zesty aromatic wine styles, so it will be interesting to see how they compare alongside the home of aromatic wines, Alsace. Visuals will highlight the beautiful vineyards and regions.
A selection of cheeses & biscuits will also be served.
No prior knowledge required to enjoy this - just a love of aromatic wines.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Alsace v New Zealand Wine Tasting are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
