Summer Sunday Afternoon Walk

About Summer Sunday Afternoon Walk

Granton Castle was originally built in the late 15th century but was demolished in the 1920's. However its walled garden survived over the centuries, hidden away by Granton's shoreline. Friends and supporters of the garden are now working hard to rescue it from abandonment and safeguard the future of this precious community asset.

The Walled Garden will be open from 1pm -3ish on Sundays in June and July. Come for an afternoon walk and enjoy the peace and beauty of Granton's own secret medieval garden.

Location: Granton Castle Walled Garden, 23 West Shore Road, Edinburgh EH5 1QB
