CHAS Teddy Bears’ Picnic

About CHAS Teddy Bears’ Picnic

If you go down to the woods today, you’re in for a big…fun-filled family day out in Fort Douglas. Come along, bring your teddy, because he’ll have lots of friends in common at our CHAS Teddy Bears’ Picnic day.

What’s On
Today’s the day we would like you to help us raise vital funds for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland – our charity partner.

Come join us at our CHAS Teddy Bears’ picnic day because in Fort Douglas, we are going on a bear hunt and you can join in too. For a donation, kids of all ages visiting Fort Douglas can pick up our special CHAS activity sheet. Find all five of our five cheeky teddies hidden around and about Fort Douglas. Note their hiding places on the activity sheet and hand it in at the Fort Douglas cabin for a little treat. Each sheet with all five hiding places will be entered into a prize draw and one of our Bear Hunt bears could be yours to keep. Also, kids can colour in the cute teddy on the activity sheet too and their artwork will be showcased on our CHAS teddy social media gallery.

Want a pic with Duggy, our friendly bunny?
As part of our CHAS Teddy Bears’ Picnic, why not come along to our picnic area at 11.30am and 1.30pm for some photo opportunities with Duggy? He’s determined to raise all he can for CHAS so will be shaking his CHAS bucket hoping for some of your small change.

Bring your cute cuddly friends too
To celebrate our CHAS Teddy Bears’ Picnic we are encouraging kids to bring along their teddies, bunnies, dinosaurs and other furry friends. They deserve a day out too. Take a pic of those special soft toy friends enjoying Fort Douglas with their respective kiddie owners. Share on Instagram with the hashtags #fortdouglasfurryfriends #CHASteddy

This event is FREE with entry to Fort Douglas. Usual entrance fees will apply.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for CHAS Teddy Bears’ Picnic are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
