Opening on 7th December, Spectacle of Light is a visual extravaganza of light, taking you on a magical journey through stunning woodland and gardens, across the river to our beautiful Orangerie and up on to the sky-high walkways of Fort Douglas - as you've never seen it before...

This fantastical winter experience is designed to be enjoyed with family and friends and there'll be plenty of festive food and cheer to enjoy along the way with mulled wine, hot chocolate, marshmallows to toast by the fire pit and much, much more.

Each evening The Spectacle of Light is a continuous experience with entry time slots every 30 minutes from 4pm to 6.30pm. The full enjoyment of Fort Douglas itself will take approximately 60 minutes, however, we recommend allowing about 90 minutes for the whole experience and you are, of course, welcome to stay as long as you like! Please ensure you’re at the Fort Douglas gate by your chosen entry time as tickets are only valid for that time and are non-transferable.
