As said by Fiona Hyslop, The Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs on the open ceremony last year: “ Each year the Festival goes from strength to strength – introducing new audiences to the breadth of Chinese culture.”

Meanwhile, Lord Provost added : “I am delighted to again see the China Arts and Culture Festival in Edinburgh and in particular to see that they are supporting the Scottish government’s Year of Young People, with the addition of the Chinese youth arts festival this year. “

As the largest showcase of Chinese Arts in Edinburgh Fringe, the festival has became an icon for presenting the unique culture form China, the country owns over 5,000 years history as well as has successfully established the best platform for Chinese artists to preform the traditional and modern art works to the local societies and international audience.
