About Talking Tapestry - Weaving Victoria Crowe Paintings

Join Master Weaver Naomi Robertson for a fascinating insight into Dovecot Studios, a world-renowned tapestry studio in the heart of Edinburgh, and her work with artist Victoria Crowe. Discussing the collaboration between artist and weaver, Naomi will share the making of three incredible tapestries designed by Crowe, and how a design is translated into the medium of tapestry. Naomi Robertson is Studio Manager and Master Weaver at Dovecot Studios. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA (Hons) degree in Tapestry in 1990, and has worked on some of Dovecot’s highest profile projects.
