About Tandem Writing Collective

Established and run by playwrights, Amy Hawes, Jennifer Adam and Mhairi Quinn, Tandem features tasters of topical new scripts by the three writers, performed script in hand by the best local actors and featuring talented new directors.

Organising events across Edinburgh and Glasgow, Tandem presents a night of new writing and live music in a relaxed environment. Recently Tandem has performed two sell out shows at the Tron Theatre in Glasgow and taken part in the Rep Stripped Festival with Dundee Rep.

Tandem has also performed two sell out shows at Assembly Roxy in February and July 2018. The girls are delighted to be back with six plays that they have created and critiqued together. The plays will be directed by award winning director, Kolbrún Björt Sigfúsdóttir.

This Tandem event will feature live music from Heather, Arran and Frank from traditional Scottish folk and ceilidh band, Boorach.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Tandem Writing Collective are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
