WOW: Women of the World Festival Think-In

The Saltire Society is delighted to be hosting a WOW Fest Think-In and very much hope you will join them on Saturday 18th May!

WOW: Women of the World Festival Think-In

About WOW: Women of the World Festival Think-In

WOW is a festival that celebrates the achievements of women and girls and also looks at the obstacles women face across the world. There’s an arts programme, and a whole range of talks and debates on topics ranging from fashion and feminism, quotas, domestic violence, race, sex, food, women bishops and more in sessions for women, men, boys and girls.

See here for examples of what we’ve done in the past: https://tinyurl.com/yx9bmyhl

Come to one of these big planning sessions – Think-Ins – to plan the festival with us.

What should WOW 2019 and beyond be about? What would you like to see represented, how we can improve on previous festivals, and what in your opinion are the most relevant topics for women today?

We’re holding an Edinburgh based Think-in session at the following times:

Saturday 18 May 2019 10.30am to 1.30pm at Saltire Society HQ (9 Fountain Close, 22 High Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1TF

Sessions are open to people of all genders.

Each session will start with an introduction about what we hope WOW will achieve, followed by planning, discussion and debate. Tea and coffee will be provided, and no preparation is required.
