Spring Street Drumming Course: Edinburgh Samba School

About Spring Street Drumming Course: Edinburgh Samba School

The course runs from the 30th of April until the 18th of June every tuesday.

Dance to the beat of your drum, join the capital's carnival club with The Edinburgh Samba School.

Hot on the heels of our 25th anniversary celebrations, The Edinburgh Samba School are keeping the carnival alive by inviting you to our street drumming course. With no experience needed, this course is the perfect introduction to Brazil's exciting and vibrant culture.

With a couple of our drummers hot off the plane from several months playing and teaching samba in Brazil, they know what's hot on the streets of Sao Paulo and Rio. With this in mind, they can turn beginners into beat masters by the end of our 8 week Street Drumming Course, which begins on Tuesday April 30th at the Bongo Club.

Great to learn something new, have fun, make friends, or brush up on your skills, we’ll even give you a free CD to get you in the mood at home! Come along to learn something new, to improve on past drumming, to relieve stress, to celebrate the appearance of the sun in the sky, and most of all to share in the cheerful energy of Brazil.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Spring Street Drumming Course: Edinburgh Samba School are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
