About Beyond The Moon Sock Monster Reading and Craft Workshop

We are super excited to welcome Beyond The Moon to Restoration Yard over Easter Weekend for a book reading and craft workshop. Beyond The Moon are a local Children’s Publisher from Edinburgh and to celebrate the launch of their new hardback book ‘The Sock Monster', they will be hosting a joint arts and crafts session.

Meet the author and listen to a reading of the story in Restoration Yard’s book nook then head up to The Loft where you can make your very own sock monster, just like the story itself.

The event is suitable for children between the ages of 2- 6, but of course, brothers and sisters are welcome too. So let’s get creative, and have some fun!

All arts and craft materials will be supplied on the day, and signed copies of the book with a dedicated personal message will be available to buy as well.

The Sock Monster – Synopsis
Poppy and her loyal canine friend Rocco turn detective in this mischievous and fun ‘whodunnit’. The identity of the Sock Monster remains a mystery until a change in the seasons results in an explosion of colour and an unexpected twist to the tale.

This event is free of charge in Restoration Yard’s Store. It will be run on a first come, first served basis on the day.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Beyond The Moon Sock Monster Reading and Craft Workshop are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
