Tuesday 2nd July - Paw Prints and Poos

Get closer to our local wildlife and learn how to read the clues they leave behind to find out who makes the loch their home. Aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday 9th July - Get a Wriggle On!

Join us on a hunt for all things that slither and slide. Aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday 16th July - Art Attack

Make paint, dyes and sculptures - all from what nature has to offer! Aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday 23rd July - Big Butterfly Count

Help the Rangers take part in this year's nationwide Big Butterfly Count then take away some fact sheets so you can carry out your own one at home. Aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday 30th July - Survival Secrets

Learn how to survive in the wilds of Linlithgow! Build a shelter, light a fire and maybe even cook a snack. Meet at the Bonnytoun Road gate to the path around Linlithgow Loch. Aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday 6th August - Crannog Life

Travel back in time to learn more about the people who lived on Linlithgow Loch thousands of years ago and the incredible houses they built on stilts. Aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday 13th August - X Marks the Spot

Take part in our orienteering challenge – Can you complete it without getting lost? This is a drop in session, arrive any time between 10am and 12.15pm. Aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, must be accompanied by an adult.
Free drop-in event. No pre-booking required.

All events are free but booking is essential for all except for 13th August. Please contact 0131 652 8150 or rangers@hes.scot. Please include your name, contact number, date and time of the event and the number of spaces required.
