This curtain-making class will give the skills to make your own professional-looking curtains.

Having curtains made costs a fortune. But ready-made curtains come in standard sizes and usually don't fit well. And the colours and patterns available can be restrictive.

Learn to make your own curtains and be able to choose from a larger range of fabrics, as well as making huge savings.

What will I learn?
-How to measure your windows
-Calculating fabric quantities
-Understand pattern repeats
-Cutting lengths and matching patterns
-Hemming techniques
-Header treatments
-Attaching lining

Due to time and space restrictions, you not be able to make an entire pair of curtains. But you will make samples of the techniques to take home and will have extensive notes from the class. So you will be equipped with the knowledge to confidently make your own at home.

Artisan Stitch won a Certificate of Excellence for sewing classes. This curtain-making class was added in 2019 and has been sold-out for every class so early booking is essential.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Curtain-making Class are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
