Christmas at the Tron

About Christmas at the Tron

We would be delighted if you could join us from 6pm on Thursday 13 December for an Edinburgh World Heritage Christmas celebration at the Tron which has always held a special place in the hearts of Edinburgh residents as a meeting point where crowds would gather to ring in the New Year. With our Christmas evening, Edinburgh World Heritage hopes to capture this festive spirit and ensure the historic 17th century kirk remains a place for community celebrations.

During the event we will provide attendees with an update on our work throughout 2018. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy drinks and festive nibbles, wander around the World Heritage exhibition, and perhaps make a few Christmas gift purchases at John Kay's shop, proceeds from which go towards the conservation of the building.

There will also be a fundraising raffle on the evening with star prizes from local businesses including Palenque Jewellery and the Scotsman Hotel.

Details:
Date: Thursday 13 December 2018
Time: 6pm – 8pm
Location: Tron Kirk, 122 High Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1SG.
Please note: There are no toilet facilities at the Tron.

Tickets are £5 for members of Edinburgh World Heritage, and £10 for non-members

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Christmas at the Tron are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
