Back by popular demand, experience Craigmillar Castle in a new light as the story of the infamous Craigmillar Bond is brought to life through illumination and projection.

Listen in on the dark plot of 1566 and encounter key characters as you tour the castle and hear of the fate that befell Mary Queen of Scots’ husband, Lord Darnley.

Although the event takes place at Craigmillar Castle, we ask all attendees to meet us in Broad Pavement Car Park in Holyrood Park. You will hear the tale unfold on the coach from Holyrood Park, and the story will continue within the stunning setting of the castle. The coach will return you to Holyrood Park at the end of the tour. Buses will leave promptly on the hour, so please arrive in plenty time for departure.

Parking:
Parking will be available at Broad Pavement Car Park. Please have your event tickets ready to show staff.

Access information:
Visitors will be taken on an exciting journey around locations within the castle as follow the story. The route does include stairs, so if you have any queries regarding the accessibility of this event, please give us a call on 0131 668 8885.
