Queen Jesus Productions

Celebrate a different kind of Christmas.

Jesus has returned to earth as a trans woman and she has a lot to say. Stories to tell. Bread and wine to share. Blessings to give…

At the epicentre of an anti-censorship and human rights movement in Brazil, Jo Clifford’s legendary play is still touring South America two years after its triumphant arrival.

Now almost ten years on from her controversial premiere, Jo and company bring their ‘moving and infinitely graceful’ (The Guardian), legendary production to the Traverse for the first time.
