About Sounds from Gold Coast with Alabaster Box

African rhythms and harmonies in gospel arrangements performed by the Ghanaian a cappella sensation, Alabaster Box. Passionate singing accompanied by dance steps and anecdotes that link African cultures to the Christian message take you on an unforgettable journey into the heart and soul of the African continent.

Alabaster Box comes to the Just Festival with its unique a cappella style of Christian music dubbed Afropella. It inculcates mouth-made sounds of African rhythms and harmonies with a message that employs African cultural symbols as tools to render the Christian faith. Passionate singing, brief African dance steps and anecdotes that link African cultural symbols to the Christian message.
