Music arranged and orchestrated by Tommy Smith and text adapted by Liz Lochhead and narrated by Tam Dean Burn. “Ah’m a grandfaither masel noo. But I want to tell ye aw a story. This is the story aboot me, me and the Wolf”. So begins, Tommy Smith’s Scottish jazz version of popular children’s classic Prokofiev’s Peter And The Wolf. Fast and fun; different instruments in the orchestra take on different characters in the story and acclaimed actor Tam Dean Burn will narrate new text, especially adapted by former Makar, Liz Lochhead.
This one hour performance is suitable for children of all ages.
