Champagne Garden Party Fundraiser
The annual Champagne Garden Party Fundraiser, in aid of Cancer Research Racquet and Marie Curie, returns to the beautiful Eglinton and Glencairn Gardens on Friday 24th May!
About Champagne Garden Party Fundraiser
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
Join us on the evening of Friday 24 May 2019 for our annual Champagne Garden Party fundraiser, in aid of Cancer Research Racquet and Marie Curie.
Held once again in the beautiful Eglinton and Glencairn Gardens, this year’s Champagne Garden Party will feature music, food by Opulent, a raffle, silent auction and of course, lots of champagne and laughs!
This year’s event will be the fifth held in Scotland for Cancer Research Racquet, an international group of business professionals who raise money for cancer research. Many within the group have fought cancer. They, their families and friends have benefitted from recent advances in drug development and treatments, and now organise events across the world to raise funds for further research to benefit others. So far, the group has funded six research grants for scientists to research various types of cancer and treatment. The group is well on its way to funding a seventh, which will focus on breast cancer research.
Again, we have teamed up with local charity Marie Curie, who work tirelessly in Edinburgh to provide physical, emotional and spiritual care for terminally ill patients together with support for the people who are close to them.
We’d like to make this year the biggest yet, with over £4,000 raised for charity last year. Last year’s event was a sell-out and we expect the same again, so grab your tickets early to avoid disappointment! We look forward to welcoming you on Friday 24 May - see you there!
