About Underground Live: Delphi, Moon Stranger and Rory Speirs

Delphi.
Delphi are an Indie / Rock band from Glasgow. This well-oiled live unit have hit the ground running having already notched up a stream of gigs throughout Glasgow & have already taken part in a UK Tour with a sound that gives nods to their New Romantic roots among the usual rock and indie.

With a winning combination of liveliness and musical maturity – sometimes danceable and upbeat, sometimes darkly inflected with a post-rock sensibility that is well suited to the fleshed-out sound of the 4 piece.

There’s numerous single releases planned for 2018 however, despite having only released one single thus far, a recent set at Stag & Dagger Festival allowed them to showcase their raw guitar-driven sound to a Glaswegian audience at two venues in the city on the same day. London crowds haven't missed out either following a rousing slot at London's Camden Rocks Festival. The band’s fervent energy ensures “Delphi” is the name that will soon be on the lips of discerning music journalists and festival bookers alike

Moon Stranger
Originated in Glasgow, singer Brendan Barclay & drummer Joshua McBride rehearsed together since the age of 12, through the years they found the guitarist Lewis Davidson who all quickly bonded and started jamming in their rehearsal studio for hours on end. Releasing 'High & Low' got them out of the studio and into the scene, with the old bassist leaving there was only a perfect space suitable for Andrew McWhinnie. Now it's just a means of working their way up that inspirational ladder, let's see how this goes x
