The Ching Room

Alan Bissett's The Ching Room, a pitch-black two-hander set in a toilet cubicle, comes to Assembly Roxy.

The Ching Room

About The Ching Room

Rory’s a shy poet who just wants to use the toilet in a Sauchiehall Street club but it’s already occupied by a drug dealer. He won’t move till he’s shifted his top quality gear, but Rory can’t even afford it. What follows is a story equally sad and funny about the dodgy deals going on right now in our public toilets.

"Rousing comedy about a toilet cubicle tipped to transcend space and time to bring wisdom and euphoria down the ages." The Outlier

"It was all quirkily compelling, & full of great lines" Mumble Theatre

After a popular and well-received run of Glasgow pubs, Attune Theatre will bring this show to Edinburgh for two nights.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for The Ching Room are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
