About Australian Big Band and Scottish Concert Band Concert

An awesome little concert by the Australian Rockhampton Big Band and the Scottish Leith Concert Band at the Hub in Edinburgh!

Come on down and enjoy big band and jazzy tunes, as well as swing classics with a hint of traditional Scottish music.

To name a few titles: Send in the Clowns, Uptown Funk, All about the Bass, Dream a Little Dream and many more. The Rockhampton band is made up of about 20 high school kids and 6 staff members. They perform on a regular basis back in Australia and this concert is part of their third international tour. Director and Conductor is Mr. John Evenhuis.

The Leith Community Concert Band is from Leith, Scotland. This traditional Scottish Band was formed in 1986 by Fredreick Frayling-Kelly. The band has a great heritage and years of experience. Director is Mr. Tommy Carr.
