Traverse Masterclass: Directors & Actors

About Traverse Masterclass: Directors & Actors

Dates & times Fri 10 & Sat 11 Nov, 11am-5pm

Led by Orla O’Loughlin, Traverse Artistic Director

Fee £150

Across two days participants will work with Orla O’Loughlin to explore the relationship between actors and directors in bringing new work to life.
Utilising previous Traverse Theatre Company texts, this masterclass shall develop skills for actors and directors in practically working together to facilitate positive and creative relationships in the rehearsal room.

Dates & times Fri 15 & Sat 16 Dec, 11am-5pm

Led by Gareth Nicholls, Traverse Associate Director

Fee £150

This masterclass is geared towards directors and playwrights interested in exploring the process behind bringing a new text to the stage. Focussing on Traverse Theatre Company production How to Disappear, Gareth Nicholls will guide participants through his rehearsal process exploring textual analysis, character development and ultimately how we practically take a brand new commission from page to stage.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Traverse Masterclass: Directors & Actors are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
