About Shambolics plus The Durty Wurks and Betty & the Bass
The Durty Wurks
Betty & The Bass
Shambolics have just sold out their hometown show in September so they're coming to do one in Edinburgh too!
Shambolics are a 4 piece 'Dreamy Rock & Roll' band inspired by the best guitar based music from the 50s onwards. Taking influence from all sorts of genres we base ourselve on 1970's harmonies, 1980's clean guitar chimes and 1990's melodic anthems.
Shambolics began at the end of 2015 after a few jam's in Dunfermlines 'Eggman Studios'. After gigging relentlessly around the UK they have built a cult following with their army of fans selling out gig after gig. Shambolics have supported the likes of The Sherlocks, Space, The Sunshine Underground & The View playing venues to a capacity of 1000 people.
This Feeling, Radio X, Jack Daniels & Fred Perry Subculture all tipped Shambolics to be 'Big in 2017'.
The latest single 'Love Collides' was released through Electric Honey Records (Biffy Clyro, Belle & Sebastion, Snow Patrol) and has also gained alot of radio attention from Jim Gellatly's Amazing Radio Show and Vic Galloways BBC Introducing Show on BBC Radio Scotland.
After travelling to London in November 2016 to play a 'Creation Records' night. Alan Mcgee formerly of Creation Records (Oasis, Primal Scream, Jesus & The Marychain) regarded Shambolics as 'A great new band'.
With support from The Durty Wurks and Betty & the Bass, this will be a night of classic dreamy, shoegaze, psychedelic rock 'n' roll.
