Your brain is the most complex structure in the Universe, responsible for everything you think, feel, say and do. But what happens if it goes wrong? Join Alzheimer’s Research UK to explore this incredible organ and find out how it is affected in dementia, with a range of creative activities, virtual reality experiences and challenging brain games.

Experimentarium: Creating Communication
Language exists in every human society, and no other species communicates in such a complex way. How and why are we the only species that speaks? Learn how experimental games can shed light on how human language evolved. Play a simple cell trying evolve, shape a new language in virtual reality, or gesture your way to meaningful communication.

Good quality outdoor spaces are important for health and wellbeing. However, there is still a lot we don’t know about who benefits from these spaces and why. Become a citizen scientist and engage in learning about how the outdoor environments in which we share and spend time can impact our health.

Discover how robot assistants can help you perform keyhole surgery! You'll find demonstrations and explanations to help you find out about what it feels like to be a surgeon.
