Mini Mechanics

Become a mini mechanic and discover the power of the internal combustion engine in this fascinating workshop.

Mini Mechanics

About Mini Mechanics

Age 7+

Take a closer look at what makes an engine tick and use real tools to take one apart in this introduction to engineering. Discover what parts are needed to make a car move, while exploring our full-sized engine model. Stand back as we create a fire piston explosion and show how power is created through the magic of combustion.

Please note: This event is part of our family science playground at City Art Centre - a day pass is required for entry.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Mini Mechanics are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
