About UK Ghost Nights - Musselburgh Town Hall

Join the Scottish Ghost Nights crew at the historic Musselburgh Town Hall in East Lothian for a special Halloween week ghost hunt under the cloak of darkness.

The Old Town Hall and Tolbooth dates from around 1590 and is one of the oldest buildings of its kind in Scotland. The stones used in its construction were once part of the chapel and hermitage of Our Lady of Loretto, which served as a hospital following the Battle of Pinkie in 1547, and which was destroyed during the Reformation.

Spooky Secrets of Musselburgh Town Hall
What secrets will we uncover? On previous investigations there has been unexplained banging noises, whispers and shadow figures. Will you be brave enough to take part in our spooky experiments? Will we contact the spirits of the dead? We will have access to the old cells and clock tower amongst others…

Your Night at Musselburgh Town Hall
Your night will include an optional ghost hunting workshop for new ghost hunters, location tour, guided vigils with the Scottish Ghost Nights crew and hot drinks. You will have chance to use some of the latest in ghost hunting technology. We will also guide you in traditional experiments such as table tipping, spirit boards and glass moving.
